We were here June 1 and 2. The CG is still relatively empty. We stayed in the 30a pull thru sites with no sewer. For $4 a night more we could have had 50a and sewer. The 50a sites are much nicer and were near full. 30a near empty. CG is very family friendly, no liquor, nice pool, 10pm quiet hour. I think it will be a little more hectic once in full summer crowds. We will stay here again in the 50a sites to compare.
We stayed here for three nights. We had a pull thru spot which is the only way I think I would fit. They do have a few back-ins that will handle a big rig but not many. The CG was very clean and the staff were very helpful. The site we had, #20, did not have sewer. They do have a single hole dump which I would guess is very busy in season. Our site was nice but very narrow. Our slide was on out site line on the left and our awning went to our line on the right. It was not crowded this early in the season but when it is...it will be wall to wall. I think the price, 43 and 38 was a little high for what you got.
We stayed in site #14 which is very close to the office. We did hear road noise from the highway but did not find it overwhelming as other did. We did have two families parked on opposite sides of us who found our campsite very convenient to cut through. Didn't care for the lay out of the CG. Not a blade of grass in the area we were in. Sardines come to mind. Looked around in the new section and found it to be very crowded. Bought $15 of wood which would not burn. When I complained they gave me more wood that would not burn. Next time we'll try another CG.
This is one of the nicest campgrounds I have been to. We have been here several times as we have our annual family reunion here. We stay in the meadows because the sites are large and gives us plenty of room for our gathering. Granted there is no full hook up, just electricity but there is a great dump site. For $22.00 it is quite a bargain.
We stayed in one of the "Prime" sites up on the hill. The view was wonderful. The sire was one of the largest we have ever been on. The weather did not cooperate but we still had a very nice time. We visited the camp store and found it to be well stocked, a little bit of everything. We spent a nice afternoon sitting in the gazebo watching the kids fish and the ducks lounge. We also met some very nice people. Can't wait to go back.
This park is lovely. we stayed two night in our 33 ft MH. The site was fairly level and very clean with small stone gravel rather than large stones we have seen at other parks. A short walk takes you to the fishing lake and area of activity. The camp store was well stocked and not overly priced. And the Hershey ice cream is the best. I found the bathroom and shower to be very clean but my wife did not find the same. Trash on the floor and generally messy. We will be back.
The park is a very nice place to stay. We stayed in our 33 ft MH. The site was very level and easy to back in. The majority of site are on top of the mountain. We did not have a toad and made on trip to the lower area were activities take place. Easy oing down but a killer going up. therefor we were stranded up on the mountain. We did vist the store which was small and crowded and pricy. All in all I like the park and will return. There seemed to be a lot of trah in the tree areas off the road. I assume they hadn't done their spring clean up yet.
